What is the yeast infection spit test?

Here is a simple test to see if you have a systemic yeast infection.

THE SPIT TEST
This is the yeast infection spit test. Mostly this works for thrush or systemic infections, but you asked, so here it is.

Come to think of it, I've never heard of anyone using this method with discharge. I'm pretty much candida balanced now, so someone who isn't should try putting a scoop of discharge in the water and then let me know what happens.

1. Put a clear glass of water next to your bed. Make sure you can see through it.

2. When you wake up in the morning, before you even get out of bed, work up a mighty glob of spit.

3. Spit in the glass and put it back on the stand.

4. Stare at it for about 3 minutes or so.
Then check it at the 5, 10 and 15 minute mark.

What you're looking for is if it just floats on top (good sign),
or of it starts to develop little 'strings' (bad sign),
or if the water gets cloudy (not as bad, but still not good),
or if it globs on the bottom (worse yet).

The sooner it 'strings' the worse your systemic infection is.
